The
Summer of Color 2 Challenge continues this week. I can't believe we're two thirds of the way through already! Unfortunately, I did not have much time this week and so I'm sharing a quick 10- minute sketch from my journal, which takes the idea of strawberry lemonade quite literally. The photo looks a bit washed out-- the actual colors are a little more festive.
I will say that with the heat wave we've been having lately, strawberry lemonade (on its own OR as an ice cream flavor) sounds quite delicious. Hope all who are in the path of this heat are finding a sprinkler to run under, having some watermelon or an icy cold glass of strawberry lemonade (vodka optional!) and enjoying their summer afternoons!
Such a sweet, delicate drawing - I love the image and the words go with it perfectly. Here in the UK we are having rain, rain, rain - no summer for us so far!
