EDM #251: Draw perfume
I wish I were someone who could wear any kind of delicious smelling perfume out there, but I suffer from migraines and am very sensitive to heavy, perfumey scents. Fortunately, there are a few exceptions and one of my favorites is a light airy scent from Issey Miyake. It takes me FOREVER to get through a bottle... sometimes, when I know I'm going to be spending most of my day indoors, I don't even use it, I just open the top and let myself take a little whiff to get my day going. I even love the shape of the bottle!

Great drawing. I love the shape of the bottle too!
ReplyDeleteNice drawing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever way to solve a problem! You don't make yourself do without...you adapt. I love your drawings. They are dreamy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sketch!! I rarely wear perfume any more...usually only on special occasions like weddings. I have become quite sensitive to them too...feel suffocated by them, even when others use them quite heavily and are in close vicinity.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sketch! Glad you found something you love the scent of that doesn't give you migraines. :) Scents can be so lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove your sketch :D. It's hard to find perfume that suits me too. I recently found one which has some kind of yummy sweet candy scent. I really love it and it comes in a cute square bottle with flower shape lid, very cute :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic drawing Molly!

Great way to capture the liquid form.
ReplyDeleteperfume bottles.... that is genius... I am going on a raid and look for drawing subjects for next week... I love this fragrance, though I wear Ralph Lauren Romance every day... it is the only one that works in the heat I think... it is nice and light on me... but oy does it stink on Phantom... she is a Dior Addict girl... the pink one... which is like cat urine on me... seriously it is foul ... funny how we smell so differently
