Summer of Color2-- Wild and Reckless

This week's theme colors for Summer of Color2 were Wild and Reckless!  Now doesn't that sound fun?  Do not ask me why I thought a proper tea pot and tea cup would best depict that... perhaps I was in an ironic mood.  Or maybe it was because the tea supply is a brand called Stash.  You have to wonder what the medicinal value of that tea might be... and just how wild and reckless you might get after drinking it.

Can't believe the Summer of Color is almost over...  Just one week to go!  This has been fun.

I also did some mindless doodling with the wild and reckless colors in mind:

I did this while being completely mesmerized by the men's semi-finals and finals at Wimbledon this past weekend!

  2. Wow, Molly, really nice pix and gotta love the journal page about tennis. I have to agree with you about Roger, even though it was tough not to root for Andy Murray.

Great tennis! Did you catch any of the women's? It was quite a bit better than usual - lots of 3 set matches.

  4. Great post!

Loved your 'mindless doodling' - some of them looking a bit like tennis balls!

Great journal page about the tennis!

  5. Love your teapot and cup - so pretty - and I have to admire your Wimbledon page, I was rooting for Federer even though a Brit winning would have been fantastic in the Diamond Jubilee year - but I'm realistic enough to realise that was pretty unlikely! Great work for this weeks challenge!

  6. You've been busy! Loving everything you've done. I particularly like your Wimbledon journal page - I was rooting for Murray but I admit the better man won on the day, and Federer is simply amazing. I think everyone was more impressed by Murray's unusual show of emotion at the end than his tennis playing!
