I'm just loving everything about this time of year, from the beautiful weather, to the amazing greenery to the colorful flowers and trees in full bloom. Every time I walk out the door-- or just look out my window-- I'm in heaven!

Beautiful picture...I'm coming to stay with you...we've had three solid weeks of rain....I've had enough... and doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon.... :(
ReplyDeleteAnd here those trees that lose their leaves are dropping them like crazy, the clouds are moving in and the temperature is dropping. Winter is coming.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely and bright composition. Lots of freedom and dashing brushstokes. Nice work.
Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, thank you for visiting and leaving a happy comment on my blog, you're right, I'm always surprised at the depth and breadth of amazing art I get in APR. It thrills me.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I'm your happy newest follower.
Thirdly, it's interesting, reading the post below this one, after looking at your "spring" journal art, I'm so surprised you feel just the same way I do about my art. I haven't found my style yet and I seem to blow with the wind when it comes with what I do. I admire many artists (and adding you for your spectacular lettering, holy cow it's good) and find I want to try what THEY're doing, I just want to find my place. It's difficult. I'm guessing that you are like me, you like most of the stuff you produce but it's still not YOU, it's piece of everyone except you. I'm just trying to continue following my heart, hoping some day it shows up in my work and I then have a style others would say, "oh, that's by Jenn". Gosh, that would be nice!
Hope to see you in Artist's Play Room this week, the theme is light and dark and the linky is open from now until Saturday morning!!
Best,
Jenn of www.justaddwatersilly.com
I'M WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smiles each morning and long deep breathes before I head off to work!
