Harry Potter

I'm not actually a big fan of Harry Potter (I know, I know, I'm probably the only person on the planet who is not). I was just trying to do a portrait with paint only and wanted to pick someone who had some distinguishing characteristics.  I really struggle with portraits.

Linking to Sunday Sketches.

  5. Good news - you're not alone! I've read the first book and that's it.

Love the portrait, it's a great technique :)

  6. I think you did a really great job. I knew before I read your text who this was. Well done. I struggle with the same...thus avoiding portraits! hee hee :)

  7. I try to do portraits every so often - just keeps me in touch with what real faces look like. They are not my love though. I think you did an awesome job, especially using paint only (you brave woman!). The likeness is wonderful - but there is a little of the abstract there too. Love it!
